& Spiritual Teacher
Renowned spiritual teacher, healer, and herbalist, Jacquelin Jinpa Giteau soaked up folk herbalism in his native Haiti where biomedical care is unaffordable for the masses and the veil to the spiritual world thin. In response to the devastating earthquake in 2010, Guiteau and herbalist Julia Graves founded the Naturopathic Earth Quake Survivor Relief Clinic in Haiti, based on the model of naturopathic clinics for refugee Tibetan monks in India. As the clinic’s head herbalist, Jackie has treated over 9000 people to date.
A film maker and electrical engineer, he once worked as the chief
broadcast engineer and manager for CUNY TV. He later spent three years
in India studying in a Buddhist monastery; to integrate his practice, he spent four more years in solitary retreat.
In addition to Mahayana and Hinayana Buddhism, his training includes
body oriented & creative media based psychotherapy, Reiki, yoga,
Gnosticism, Rosicrucianism, Freemasonry, Theosophy, & the Kabbalah.
Jackie is a much beloved meditation master & spiritual teacher who synthesizes Eastern and Western mysticism, & practices healing with his secret ingredient: Love.
